"The trip from New Zealand had many high points but the Scottish scenery almost made me homesick - Holly Trees is a lovely cottage and so cosy inside, but there is a surprising second garden up by the pine forrest with fabulous views and secluded seating areas. Masses to do and see in the area and I loved it."

"Thank you for a truly amazing stay at HollyTrees. The interior of the cottage is beautifully fitted out – a delightful mix of traditional, luxury furnishings (Harris Tweed chairs!) and state of the art bathrooms.
Unusually for rentals, not a stick of Ikea furniture to be seen. Also and importantly for our group, lots of space to stretch out and enjoy a relaxing break reading the papers next to the fire. The cottage grounds are extensive and include a lovely picnic area which is reached via a winding hillside path. The picnic area boasts breathtaking views of the loch – and is a perfect place for a sundowner or two. Ideally situated for touring, walking and an easy drive to and from Glasgow.
A real home from home from home with a luxe feel. My only regret is that I didn’t manage to sneak one of the Harris Tweed chairs into the car. Will be back soon!!!"
