Key Lock

Safety

Security
Please do not leave the building open when you are not there. The front door key is all you will need - whilst you are staying at HollyTrees, please remember to put it back in the secure key box when you go out. The outside garage doors may be left unlocked. The internal garage door will remain locked.

Medical
It is suggested that you have travel and medical insurance. There is a small hospital in Dunoon, but serious injuries or illness will require a trip to Inverclyde. There is a GP surgery 400 yards from HollyTrees, which may be able to help for less serious issues. Otherwise for emergencies call 999.

Fire and Rescue
There is a fire extinguisher in the kitchen by the front door, together with a fire blanket in the case of pan fire. There are smoke and fire alarms in the required areas of the building. There are automatic motion sensor up lighters which will guide you in the case of an emergency evacuation of the building. Otherwise call the emergency service on 999.

Use of the fire place
If you use the fireplace and you are confident of managing a fire, please do not leave any fire unguarded. Take care of any children in the vicinity of the fireplace. Make sure the fire is out before you leave the building or go to bed.

We ask you to respect our home and take care of our furniture. The host will inspect HolyTrees as soon as you leave and will report any damage with 48 hours. If you have damaged, stained or broken anything please let the Host know.

Licence - we are licenced for short-term letting by the Argyll & Bute Council. A copy of the licence is at the end of this your handbook.
